Lisa and Thomas are from Vienna and didn’t want a big wedding – but rather something that feels like a weekend with friends. Fifteen guests, two days on the Lake of Como and a concept as clear as the water in front of the villa: white and black.
On the first evening everyone wore white, on the wedding day everyone wore black. In between: pizza under the pergola, boats on the lake, a wedding in Villa del Balbianello and a dinner at the Relais Villa Vittoria.

All White · All Black
The opening event was deliberately relaxed: a pizza party at the Relais Villa Vittoria, all guests in all-white attire. Under the pergola were tables with red-and-white tablecloths, fresh baked pizza was served at the pizza bar, and the aperol was served with a view of the lake.
An evening without a program, but with everything that makes up Italy – and the perfect moment for all fifteen guests to get to know each other before the big day.
The evening before the wedding
The wedding morning began in the suite overlooking the lake: a pink tulle morning gown, pearls, Chanel – and, to be honest, a serving of fries. Because even a bride should have something to eat before the wedding.
Instead of using the shuttle, we took the boat to Villa del Balbianello. The trip became a small sightseeing tour: the guests could discover Lake Como from the water before arriving at one of the most beautiful places in Italy.
Lisa and Thomas were married in the loggia of Villa del Balbianello – between white roses in amphorae and a view of the lake. Fifteen guests, all in black: The „All Black“ dress code made every photo an editorial.
On the way back, the boat turned into a bar: The reception took place right on the lake – with champagne, the wind in the veil and a view back to the Villa.
Back at the Relais Villa Vittoria, a long table under the pergola awaited: white flowers, tall candles, wine with its own label – and later a champagne tower.
