A wedding at Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum: Paradise Bay, design and real prices

Paradise Bay, a terrace above the bay and a resort for the whole weekend: which areas there are, how we design there and what it costs according to the current offer.

Table of contents

Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum sits on Paradise Bay, Cennet Koyu in Turkish, on the northern coast of the peninsula, a five-minute drive from Göltürkbükü. A Mandarin Oriental Bodrum wedding means a large resort with its own beaches, plenty of restaurants and rooms for your guests, where you can celebrate a whole wedding weekend without getting into a car once.

Here you can read which areas the hotel offers for weddings, how we develop a design there that does not look like a standard set-up, and what a wedding weekend costs. All figures are starting prices for a minimalist set-up and exclude the planner fee; the hotel prices come from the current offer (as of 2026) and may change. The hotel photos are by Mandarin Oriental, the couple photos are from our own weddings in Bodrum.

Where is Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum and what is there?

From Milas-Bodrum airport it is roughly a 45-minute drive, and Bodrum town is 20 to 30 minutes away. The resort stretches from the hillside overlooking the bay down to the beaches. According to the offer it has 122 rooms, suites, lifestyle apartments and villas, all with a view of the Aegean, plus a 2,700 m² spa with a hammam.

For a wedding weekend, what matters is what your guests do between the events. There are several restaurants and bars, including Hakkasan, Sofra, the Blue Beach Club and Gigi Rigolatto, an Italian restaurant right on the beach that opened in 2025 and comes with its own boutique. On top of that there are exclusive boutiques on the grounds, tennis courts that are also used in the evening, new padel courts and the Mouratoglou Tennis Center.

Who is a Mandarin Oriental Bodrum wedding right for?

  • For a wedding weekend in one place: the welcome evening, ceremony, dinner, after-party and brunch all take place at the same resort. Your guests need no shuttle between events.
  • For guests who expect resort comfort: spa, beaches, restaurants and sport, without you having to build a programme for it.
  • For couples who want a design of their own: the hotel provides the space, kitchen and service. According to the offer, decor, flowers, lighting, sound and entertainment are not included, and that is exactly where your signature comes in.

Between the hotel’s photos we show you pictures from our own weddings: Yulia & Kevin in Bodrum and Kristina & Filip in Sanremo. They were not taken at Mandarin Oriental, but they show how we design.

The areas: the terrace above and the large area below

For the wedding day, the hotel’s current offer gives us the Olive Tree Terrace: welcome cocktail, ceremony, dinner and after-party all take place there, overlooking the bay. According to the offer, the welcome evening and brunch are on the Blue Beach VIP Deck or at the Pool Restaurant. In bad weather the hotel provides the ballroom for up to 150 guests at tables, or you can put up a marquee at your own cost.

To be honest: we have no offer for the large area down by the beach and on the lawn. For many couples it is the most beautiful part of the resort. Whether it is possible for your wedding, and on what terms, is something we clarify with the hotel on request. We deliberately do not give a price for it here.

Design: a concept for this place, not a standard set-up

The bay has seen many weddings, and many follow the same flow in the same spots. That can be beautiful, but it is not your wedding. We do not set up a wedding there that has already happened countless times; we develop a concept for exactly this place, its architecture, the evening light and your schedule. A few ideas of what that can look like:

  • The terrace in two acts: according to the offer, there is less than an hour between the ceremony and dinner. That is why we plan the Olive Tree Terrace in two zones: the ceremony at the edge facing the bay, pared right back so the view is the stage, and dinner at long tables that are already set and only really come alive with the evening light.
  • Down by the water, on request: one single long table on the lawn instead of many round tables, and after dinner the party moves towards the beach with your feet in the sand. We clarify this with the hotel beforehand.
  • An Italian welcome evening: Gigi Rigolatto already brings the mood. Whether the welcome evening can take place there is something we ask the hotel. In the offer it is on the Blue Beach VIP Deck, which we then take in the same direction with linen, lemons and warm light.
  • A cocktail styled like a summer boutique: instead of standing tables, a small boutique scene with fans, sun hats and a monogram table where your guests have their gift personalised.
  • Padel the morning after: a relaxed tournament with mixed teams from both families, followed by brunch. We book the courts through the hotel.
  • Arrival by boat: the hotel offers the couple an entrance from the water. We plan it so that it suits the ceremony and does not feel like a show.

You can see what a consistent concept feels like at a table below, at our own weddings, not at Mandarin Oriental: Kristina & Filip’s table in Sanremo from above, Yulia & Kevin’s curved table in Bodrum and their dinner above the bay.

Mandarin Oriental, Yazz Collective or Scorpios?

  • Yazz Collective: a small hotel in a bay near Fethiye that you book in full, reachable only by boat. More privacy, more logistics.
  • Scorpios Bodrum in Gölköy: a beach club rather than a resort, with more party energy.
  • Maçakızı in Türkbükü: a Bodrum classic in the neighbouring bay, smaller and with more of the Bodrum scene around it.
