First, the location, because it often gets filed in the wrong place: Yazz Collective sits in a private bay near Fethiye, on the coast between Göcek and Fethiye, and you can only reach it by boat. A Yazz Collective wedding therefore means a small hotel with 35 rooms that you book in full, a restaurant right on the water and a weekend where only your guests are staying at the hotel.
Here you can read what the buyout means, what a wedding weekend there can look like, what the boat-only access adds in logistics and how the budget adds up. All figures are starting prices for a minimalist set-up and exclude the planner fee; the venue prices come from the current offer (as of 2026) and may change. The venue photos are by Yazz Collective, the couple photos are from our own weddings in Bodrum.

Where is Yazz Collective and how do you get there?
Yazz Collective sits in a secluded bay in the province of Muğla, on the Fethiye side of the Gulf of Göcek. The hotel opened in 2023 and is a member of Small Luxury Hotels of the World. The buildings are by the Istanbul studio FAAR Concept: low, made of bamboo, timber and natural stone, spread out between gardens and old trees. Bali beds line the beach, and spa treatments take place in open cabanas among the trees. It is barefoot luxury rather than grand hotel.
The nearest airport is Dalaman. From there it is roughly an hour by car, then you continue by boat, about 10 to 20 minutes depending on where you set off. The hotel also offers helicopter transfers from Bodrum and seaplanes from Istanbul. For your guests the journey is part of the experience. For the planning it is the most important factor, because every guest, every flower, every chair and every speaker arrives over the jetty.

Who is a Yazz Collective wedding right for?
- For a wedding weekend rather than a single day: because of the minimum nights and the boat transfer, the bay makes most sense if you want to spend several days with your guests.
- For an intimate wedding: the Citrus Restaurant seats up to 150 guests for dinner and holds up to 200 for a cocktail reception. With 35 rooms, though, not everyone on a larger guest list sleeps at the hotel.
- For couples who want nature rather than a ballroom: timber, stone, trees and water are the backdrop. If you are after crystal chandeliers and marble, a palace in Istanbul suits you better.
Exclusive buyout: the whole hotel is yours
According to the current offer, there is a clear rule for events: as hosts, you book all 35 rooms. The minimum stay is 2 nights on weekdays and 3 nights at weekends. That makes the venue more expensive than a restaurant that only charges for catering, but it also changes the weekend: no strangers at the breakfast buffet, no audience at the ceremony, and for a few days the hotel belongs to your group.
If you have more guests than 35 rooms can hold, some of them stay in Göcek or Fethiye and join by boat in the evening. That works, but it needs a boat schedule for every evening and for the return trip after the party.

The Citrus Restaurant and a possible wedding weekend
The celebration takes place at the Citrus Restaurant, an open space under a reed roof right on the water. It seats up to 150 guests for dinner and holds up to 200 for a cocktail reception. For the get-together and the day after, the beach, the jetty and the lawn beneath the old trees work well.

According to the offer, the evening of the wedding day runs for about six hours. Dinner is modern Mediterranean and made for sharing: two cold and two warm starters in the middle of the table, then a main course and dessert. The after-party ends at midnight. If you want to party longer, clarify that before you sign, not once the planning has started.

Everything arrives by boat: the logistics
What a shuttle bus handles in Bodrum needs boats here. Your guests land in Dalaman, drive to the marina and cross over. On arrival and departure days that means several runs, and anyone staying elsewhere needs a boat there every evening and back after the party. Then there is the production: design, furniture, lighting and sound arrive by boat, set-up and breakdown take longer, and the teams stay nearby because they cannot simply drive home in the evening.
Whether the production needs additional power, a generator for example, is something we clarify with the venue case by case. It is not included in the calculation below.

How much does a wedding at Yazz Collective cost?
The budget here has two parts that you should look at separately: the room block and the wedding itself. According to the current offer, rooms are approx. €900 to €1,200 per night including breakfast, depending on the season. You book the whole block with the hotel, but you can pass the room price on to your guests in full or in part. Some couples cover everything, others only the rooms for family and the wedding party.
Room block
We calculate the wedding budget for a wedding weekend with 3 events and 100 guests, using the same figures as in the cost of a destination wedding in Turkey. The tables show starting prices: minimalist design, a DJ with basic lighting and sound, mid-class photo and video teams. Design, entertainment and photo & video are exactly where the range opens up, and below you can set it yourselves. What is new compared with Bodrum are the boats.

Together
As a starting price, the wedding weekend therefore comes to approx. €187,000 without rooms and approx. €282,000 to €313,000 with the room block. Your guests can help pay for the room block. With opulent design at all three events, a band, a live act and fireworks, and top photo and video teams, you are closer to approx. €331,000 without rooms. Not included are the planner fee, flights, outfits and a possible generator. For comparison with a venue you can reach by road: How much does a wedding in Bodrum cost?.

No decor from the hotel: what that means for you
The hotel provides the space, the kitchen and the service, but no decoration. Concept, florals, table decor, furniture, lighting and sound come with an external team, and everything arrives by boat over the jetty and leaves the same way.
This is exactly where our work as planners comes in: a design that suits the timber and stone architecture instead of covering it up, and a schedule that works with the boats. The photos below, from our weddings in Bodrum, show what a ceremony setting by the water can look like.

Honestly: pros and cons
What speaks for it
- Privacy: with the buyout, the hotel is there for your group alone for the weekend.
- Setting: bay, trees, timber and stone. For a wedding by the water you do not need to build a backdrop here.
- Arrival by boat: for many guests, the moment the weekend begins.
What you need to plan for
- Fixed costs from the buyout and minimum nights: even for a smaller wedding you book all 35 rooms for 2 or 3 nights.
- Party until midnight: according to the offer, the after-party ends at midnight.
- No decor from the hotel: design, furniture and production all come from outside.
- Everything by boat: guests, suppliers and equipment. That costs time and money and is difficult for guests with limited mobility.

Yazz Collective or Bodrum after all?
If you like the bay but would rather celebrate at a venue you can reach by road, these are the venues in Bodrum we compare most often:
- Maçakızı in Türkbükü: a Bodrum classic with views over the bay and more of the Bodrum scene around it.
- Mandarin Oriental, Bodrum on Paradise Bay: a large resort with room for longer guest lists and many areas for several events.
- Scorpios Bodrum in Gölköy: a beach club rather than a retreat, with more party energy.
You will find all options with location and vibe in our 12 top wedding venues in Bodrum.
A bay all to yourselves is no luxury if the boat schedule does not work. With the right plan, it is the finest kind.Kaipo Weddings
